Clemmie Mason
Child Psychotherapist
I am an Attachment-based integrative Child Psychotherapist working with clients from age 4 up to 18. I qualified with an MA in Child Psychotherapy in 2016 from the Institute of Art and Therapy in Education. This rigorous training provided me with the opportunity to become UKCP certified after I qualified. I have gained experience working in many different primary and secondary London schools with individual children and groups.
My one to one integrative psychotherapy sessions offer children and adolescents a safe, reflective space while I work collaboratively with school staff and parents to find strategies to best support the child. Sessions involve communicating with the child on their level through creative play, drawing, painting, using clay, music, movement, storytelling and more. I use psycho-education, mindfulness and stress management techniques when working with individuals and when running groups.
My experience of running therapeutic services within London schools has allowed me to develop various specialisms, working with trauma, ASD, ADHD & ADD, OCD, anxiety, grief, family conflict, divorce & separation, Looked After Children and adoption.
