Online Therapy
Counselling for Adults and Young People
Chloe Billington, founder of Child in Time, is a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor for both adults and children, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Chloe currently offers online counselling for adults (18+) alongside Adriana Buzetto, a qualified integrative psychotherapist for children and adolescents, providing online counselling for young people (13+). Adriana is registered with the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy).
I have worked therapeutically with adults and children encountering a wide range of personal challenges for the last 15 years. Although I am currently working online with 18+ clients, I bring a decade of experience with children and young people to my practice. Our childhood and our children inevitably have a huge impact on our lives.
If it feels like the right time for you to explore your inner life more deeply, or to make sense of patterns that you notice and want to change, therapy can be a powerful tool. Early trauma or a more recent event could have destabilised your life or smaller stressors may have built up to an unmanageable load. Whatever brings you here, don’t hesitate to reach out if you want to find out more. I am available for a free 15 minute discovery call via this link. Get in touch to discuss, or Book Today.
My qualifications include a level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (for adults) as well as a Pgdip in Child and Adolescent Counselling (Integrative Arts based). My practice is affirming and relational, with an integrative combination of psychodynamic and person-centred, CBT and ACT approaches. I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist offering online therapy for young people aged 13–18. I have over 15 years’ experience supporting adolescents and hold an MA in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy. I am a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and practise in line with their professional and ethical guidelines.
Adolescence can be a complex and emotionally demanding stage of life, often bringing challenges around identity, friendships, family relationships, academic pressure and the future. Through therapy, I support young people to make sense of their experiences, build self-awareness and confidence, and develop the emotional skills needed to manage feelings such as anxiety, low mood, anger and overwhelm.
Online therapy can be a highly effective and accessible way for adolescents to receive support, and for many it is a format they feel comfortable with.
Parents are welcome to book an initial consultation to discuss their child’s needs and whether ongoing online therapy would be a helpful next step. Get in touch to learn more, or Book Today.
Therapeutic Support

Therapy for Young People (13+)
For some young people, online counselling is the preferred way to engage with emotional support. If you feel that your child would benefit from this highly professional but accessible therapy, please book in a parent consultation with Adriana Buzetto who works online with ages 13-18 to discuss your family situation. Then you can decide whether regular online counselling is the right next step for your child (ages 13+).
You can also book a free discovery call with Chloe Billington to find out more.

Therapy for Young Adults (18-25yrs)
For many young adults, the transition from home to University or the pressures of seeking employment can fuel self-doubt and anxiety. If you or your child are 18-25yrs Chloe Billington can offer an empathic and containing space to discuss overwhelming thoughts and feelings that might manifest as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, shame or anger.
After over a decade working in schools and colleges, Chloe crossed over into adult work, bringing a wealth of training and experience to this client group.

Anxiety, Depression & Identity (all ages)
Anxiety amongst young people has risen but it is also very common to experience high anxiety or depression throughout life and in retirement.
Questions around identity begin in adolescence and often return at major life changes such as leaving home, divorce or retirement.
Who am I? Why do I feel like this? What do I want the rest of my life to look like?
If you have experienced chronic anxiety or depression, we can work together towards acceptance and recovery.

Relationships & Families (all ages)
The impact of our unique family history and dynamics are lifelong, emerging with different levels of intensity and taking on new meaning across our lifetime.
We provide a safe space to deepen your understanding of the many parts of you; where you come from, what you have lost, what you have found and what you hope for the future.
‘And the end of all our exploring/Will be to arrive where we started/And know the place for the first time.’ T.S. Eliot

FAQs
How much will the session cost?
A standard session costs £80 per single session (50mins) For 18yrs + a sliding scale payment policy operates for students/low income so please discuss in your free discovery call.
What commitment is expected from me?
Therapy is a process that takes shape over time. It is up to you how long you commit for but 6 sessions is considered a short-term approach and many people find 12 sessions or 20 sessions a useful framework. Open ended therapy is also widely practiced for psychotherapeutic work where you start with a view to continuing until you are ready to end.
Can I contact you to discuss prior to booking?
Yes. You can book a free discovery call with Chloe prior to booking a session. If you would like to have a discovery call with Adriana, that can also be arranged. Please email chloe@childintime.co.uk.
What modality of therapy is this?
Chloe Billington and Adriana both work psychotherapeutically with an integrative approach, combining different approaches and techniques to suit each individual client.
What is Anti-Oppressive Practice?
As anti-oppressive counsellors we aim to challenge societal imbalances as well as discrimination and oppressions that operate within therapy, including race, gender, sexuality, disability and others.
How does online counselling work?
Once you have booked a session, you will receive a ‘pending’ email. This will be followed by another email confirming your appointment. At least 24hrs before your appointment your therapist will send you a video link for your session with a contract for you to read. If you have any queries you can ask your therapist in the first session.
What should I do before my first session?
It is quite common to start with goals for your therapy but that doesn’t suit everyone and goals often shift over time. Your therapist will travel alongside you on your therapeutic journey, so if you take a new direction, they will go there with you. It can take time to build trust before talking about sensitive issues so you may want to talk about your current situation, any previous therapy and your mental health more generally in your first session.
